What if we could do more than curate coworking news?

An update on the journey from "just a newsletter" to a global platform that elevates coworking voices, ideas and opportunities.

As the major brand partnerships for 2026 get finalized, I’ve spent a lot of time running over how the year’s gone for ThisWeekInCoworking, and our various properties, channels and shows.

🤫 PS. There are a handful of great opportunities reserved for new partners in 2026.
Want in? Let’s chat.

It’s been a little while since I last noted some updates about “that little newsletter project”. And so, I wanted to share some of that info here, given that most of TWIC is being built in public.

So… what’s changed at This Week In Coworking this year?

📊 If you're looking for our This Year in Coworking: 2025 review (that will share our community's most visited, clicked, watched and listened to content) that'll be posted later in the month.

🫩 It's December. Give me the TWIC stats already.

💌 Our written summaries.

The official newsletter is still our core recurring news channel with 270+ new teams getting in on receiving and discussing our Thursday summary emails.

While I love welcoming new faces and teams, it is important to note that 16% of teams getting weekly emails, have been getting my weekly summaries since 2021. Another 12% since 2022, and 20% since 2023. I see you, and appreciate you allowing me to interrupt you every Thursday.

Over on LinkedIn we welcomed 300 new subscribers for our Headlines-only recaps.

🎙️ Diving deeper into audio & video content.

Ever since the clubhouse-days, I’ve wanted to provide a fun and informative audio discussion of the weekly newsletter. After many discussions, in around October 2024 Mike LaRosa hopped in to become the cohost of Weekly Recaps, our first multimedia show.

Around the same time the Exclusive Insights show also launched featuring longer interviews with the people mentioned within the newsletter. In 2025 this show was renamed to Behind the News and has been consistently sharing interviews with move makers and thought leaders on an almost-weekly cadence.

In July, we also tested our first ever regional mini-series, welcoming Tashi Dorjee as the host of our Unpacking APAC: Australia show.

Our Undercurrents deep-dive reports also got an audio and video element, which was added to our feeds.

Collectively, there’s a healthy growth across our YouTube, Spotify and Apple Pods channels.

Some screenshots from TWIC’s Spotify Unwrapped this year:

As for YouTube, that’s seen a 475% bump in views, a 208% bump in watch time (up to 364.7 hours) and 100+ more subscribers.

Closing out the year we also ran our first real pilot of a Live From… campaign, sharing 14 quick (but not necessarily easy) Q&A sessions that Mike LaRosa and Olivia Lutz hosted with industry leaders attending Coworking Europe’s 2025 conference in Berlin.

As for critical feedback, we have heard that some episodes could have done with better audio editing and levelling. Working on that.

🧩 The Website

The biggest investment this year has gone into reimagining how to make the website more useful, fun, and future-ready.

The This Week In Coworking website saw a 184% growth in pageviews compared to 2024, making this year the second three-figure-percentage growth year in a row, and fifth consecutive year of double-digit-plus percentage growth.

Knowing how closely interconnected coworking news, brands, and people are, the focus of the website was to better highlight each of these areas.

There was continued building on 2024’s addition of Brand Profiles, which saw a 68% year-over-year increase in visits to these contextual pages. Brand Dashboards for upgraded Patron Status accounts also rolled out, putting DIY controls and tools into the hands of more coworking marketing, positioning, hiring, and strategy teams. Brand Profiles officially exited beta mode on December 1st 2025.

Links between the Coworking Jobs list (461% Y-o-Y more visits) and the Coworking Events calendar (111% more Y-o-Y visits) were also improved.

Also introduced this year for International Coworking Day, was an interactive social word game called Coworking Words, that’s seen thousands and thousands of plays.

😳 There's actually been 10,105 Coworking Words sessions started since August 9th 2025.

In November saw the introduction of Coworking Leader profiles. Like Brand Profiles, these auto-updating contextual pages highlight the people mentioned within the newsletters and our other channels – and whether they were interested in participating in panels, keynotes, consulting or podcasts. Numbers are still out on this.

By shifting more investment into creating an asynchronous source of succinct insights, resources and opportunities, the next objective is to reach more international markets – elevating more stories, leaders, brands and opportunities.

For a reference point, here’s how our international expansion is going so far.

🌍 Where next?

Everywhere. Hopefully.

More newsletters. More interviews. More deep-dives. More countries. More events. More shows.

There’s never been more ways for individuals, brands, events, publications and vendors to partner with This Week In Coworking.

I can’t wait to see what we build together in 2026.

I lead strategic initiatives for people, brands, and projects at the intersection of tech & work

I’m part web dev, part guerrilla marketer, and all geek.

I love working on interesting ways to build campaigns, implement tech, elevate voices, and drive revenues for market-defining personalities, brands, and platforms.

In 1999, I hit upload on my first “website”, and 12-year-old me was immediately hooked on the ways the internet would become a force multiplier for people, brands, and ideas.

Since then I’ve worked on over 850 strategic initiatives across media, advertising, non-profits, proptech, e-commerce, marketplaces, productized services, and more.

I’m currently a co-founder of Syncaroo.com and curate the This Week In Coworking newsletter.

Previously I founded included.co and led the growth of the global perks network to 700+ communities, supporting over 133,000 members and businesses.

In my blog and on stage I share thoughts, observations, and undercurrent trends at the intersection of workspaces and technology.
