Directly supporting communities within Ukraine through local coworking spaces.

Coworking spaces around Europe have mobilized to support those displaced by the war in Ukraine. Here's a way to support coworking communities within Ukraine.

A lot has been shared about how coworking spaces and leaders across Europe have stepped in to support the millions of humans that have been displaced by the war.

I’ve shared glowing examples of offering space & support to work, live, study, move, rest and receive medical attention in both Week 9 and Week 10‘s ThisWeekInCoworking.com newsletters. The newsletters also received responses from leaders from further afield who also want to support those affected.

When 70+ coworking leaders joined a Coworking IDEA call with the representatives from the Ukrainian Coworking Association to learn about what support people needed on the ground, we learned that many coworking spaces were mobilized and still actively supporting their local communities, including within a besieged city.

So we asked how we could directly support those community leaders.

Directly support coworking leaders on the ground in Ukraine.

Following the call Igor Dzhebyan, who’s both a VP at Ukrainian Coworking Association and CEO of coworking software platform andcards, began curating a list of vetted and active coworking & flex spaces that can accept online payments.

Below is that list, and it will automatically be updated as Igor and the Coworking Ukraine team get more links and info.

You’re invited to directly support coworking leaders on the ground, by buying day passes or memberships and sharing your contribution via the form below.

Want to support Ukrainian coworking spaces directly through your favorite booking platform, aggregator or brokers? Let me know, our team at Syncaroo are exploring options to make that seamless and sustainable for as many of these operators as possible.

Want to share the list and contribution forms on your website or within your network?
See embedding instructions below.

Want to spread your support? You can MAKE A DONATION via the Coworking IDEA Project here.
All funds raised will be directed to the Ukrainian Coworking Association and other Ukrainian-led and endorsed humanitarian initiatives.

Here’s a note from the Ukrainian Coworking Association:

These Ukrainian coworking and flex space businesses need your support! 💙💛

Please book a room or a desk, or simply send a donation to help. The links are provided by the representatives of each business and the money goes straight into their hands. If you are not sure about something or the link doesn’t work, please let us know at [email protected]

Add the list and form to your own website.

Use the snippets below to invite your customers, members, community, alliance or network to support these spaces from your own web site.

Hey, I'm Hector 👋

I lead strategic initiatives for people, brands, and projects at the intersection of tech & work

I’m part web dev, part guerrilla marketer, and all geek.

I love working on interesting ways to build campaigns, implement tech, elevate voices, and drive revenues for market-defining personalities, brands, and platforms.

In 1999, I hit upload on my first “website”, and 12-year-old me was immediately hooked on the ways the internet would become a force multiplier for people, brands, and ideas.

Since then I’ve worked on over 850 strategic initiatives across media, advertising, non-profits, proptech, e-commerce, marketplaces, productized services, and more.

I’m currently a co-founder of Syncaroo.com and curate the This Week In Coworking newsletter.

Previously I founded included.co and led the growth of the global perks network to 700+ communities, supporting over 133,000 members and businesses.

In my blog and on stage I share thoughts, observations, and undercurrent trends at the intersection of workspaces and technology.
